I saw Patrick's big news over on LSOS Laurie. Delighted for him. It must have been hard for Annalie to let him go but great now that she can foster another needy for you.

Maggie May is a stunning greyhound girl who is being surrendered by her owner. No room at the inn for her so we would love to get her into foster. She is 6 years old, a calm, gentle girl who gets on well with other dogs, walks well on the lead, has good recall and is a great all rounder.

We have had a lovely foster offer for Florence for a few weeks time. We will let her settle in kennels for a couple of weeks, get to know her a bit better to make sure she wil suit the foster home and all going well this girl will be on the journey to a new home. Have also had an offer for foster for Maggie May so hopefully she will go next week. Thought you might like to see some photos of Yogi (was Bono) Playing bitey face with his partner in crime, sister Sheba (don't they make a stunning pair) Time to recline He has settled in like he has always been there. Himself and Sheba get on amazingly well and the huskies don't mind him too much either!! He even sleeps in the bed between Vicky and Mark at night! We won't mention his habit of spying on Vicky in the shower though ;D

We are looking for a foster home for little Juno the whippet pup. Se is good with other dogs, children, cats, and travels well in the car. She will need a foster home with someone around all day to continue her training, including crate training. She is a typical lively pup! Maggie the greyhound was spayed yesterday and all went well. She is going into foster tomorrow with a very excited family who all going well will adopt her! Here she is getting a beauty treatment the other day in preparation for meeting her new family! Florence the beautiful scruffy lurcher is going to foster today for some much needed tlc. Updates as she settles. Nell is now called Luna and is amazing her family at what a great pup she is, although those of us who know this litter know just how great they are. Perfect pups! She has met all the animals on the small holding, inlcuding goats, pigs, chickens, gets on with the cat, loves Naoise her big brother and her human family. So thrilled for her.

I just wanted to give a quick update regarding the dogs we have in the care of Team Lurcher and maybe it will prompt those of you reading to consider adopting or fostering one of these lovely dogs. We really are full to the brim and getting very few homing enquiries or adoption offers. Our doors are firmly closed now until some of these current dogs get homes Renzo: In foster. Not one single rehoming enquiry for him. www.sighthound-strolls.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rescue&action=display&thread=140Hugo: In kennels. One rehoming enquiry that wasn't suitable. Hugo has made huge progress and is a much calmer dog than the one that first arrived. www.sighthound-strolls.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rescue&action=display&thread=108Sonas: In kennels. Two rehoming enquiries that went nowhere. www.sighthound-strolls.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rescue&action=display&thread=141Juno: In foster. No rehoming enquiries although she has only just gone up for rehoming. www.sighthound-strolls.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rescue&action=display&thread=151Richie: In kennels. Very sadly Richie's new home didn't work out and he came back to kennels this week and is very shell shocked at finding his world turned upside down. He will be put back up for rehoming shortly. www.sighthound-strolls.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rh&action=display&thread=129Sammy: In kennels: Is doing really well and will be up for rehoming very shortly. Here is an old photo until I get some new ones this week. Amber: In foster: This lovely little whippet sized girl will be up for rehoming shortly. Here is an old photo until I get some new ones this week. Alfred: In kennels. Alfred is back in kennels after being in short term foster. He is a really gentle sweet boy who can be nervous of other dogs. He could really do with some tlc in a foster home who have the time and patience to help him to come out of his shell. He seems to particularly love children. Here is an old photo of him until I get some new ones. Echo: 5 year old greyhound girl who is in foster. Not yet ready for rehoming but when she is she is going to make a super companion for someone. Bella: 6 year old greyhound in foster with a view to adopt. Florence: 6 year old scruffy beauty who is currently in foster and will be going to Auntie Laurie soon! Sasha: Young brindle lurcher who will also be going to Auntie Laurie shortly! Bethany: New 5 year old scruffy girl who will be coming into foster with me tomorrow. Not yet ready for rehoming. Details to follow. New Boy: 5 year old male brindle lurcher in dreadful condition. In kennels. Not yet ready for rehoming. Details to follow. New Girl: Light brindle female who is going straight into foster from the pound today. Not yet ready for rehoming. More details to follow. Maybe some of you seeing the list in black and white could be inspired to find a space for one of these beautiful dogs
